The Incredible Hulk #400

Back in December of 1992 The Incredible Hulk #400 was released for $2.50. I paid $2.75 for this comic book at McKay's in Nashville, TN. The shiny cover of The Incredible Hulk #400 really caught Noah's eye. He thinks it is pretty cool. I do not disagree. This comic book contains Ghost of the Past Part Four. That is a four part storyline so things wrap up in The Incredible Hulk #400.

There will be spoilers in my review of the The Incredible Hulk #400 comic book. The condition of this comic book is decent for its age. The issues families can have with The Incredible Hulk #400 are lack of attire, enticement to lust, violence, false gods, bad language, blood, and more. There are advertisements all throughout The Incredible Hulk #400 comic book.

The main story in The Incredible Hulk #400 is thirty-six pages of comic book content. There is a second story in The Incredible Hulk #400 that is ten pages long. The second story is entitled A Titan Rudes the Train. Those ten pages look like a reprint of a much older comic book to me. The paneling, art, style, and everything scream a much previous era. There are also some poster like pages within The Incredible Hulk #400. Or I supposed you could call them art pages.

The story in The Incredible Hulk #400 revolves around The Leader trying to bring dead people back to life. He did it with one, but since the soul was not restored the person looks like a zombie that can only take orders and not think for themselves. Rick is trying to save Marlo, and accepts the offer from The Leader. This priest or pastor character has the ability to bring soul power back to bodies.

Hulk has a bit of a pity party in The Incredible Hulk #400. Everyone wants something from him, but no one bothers to take care of his needs or wants. Man I can relate to that one. We men are expected to do all of this things, and then quite often are not properly prepared for. Hulk goes after The Leader in The Incredible Hulk #400. It winds up with conflict with Rick because he is trying to get Marlo back. At the end of The Incredible Hulk #400 no one really wins. Hulk demolishes the place and questions his own actions.
