The Invisible Man Season One
SCORE: 65
One of the Black Friday 2023 purchases I made was The Invisible Man
Season One. It came up on the Walmart site for their Black Friday sales.
This is an older show and the second season of the show did not get a
DVD release. Which is pretty lame. An average thief is going to jail and
is given a choice. He can become a government human experiment or go to
jail. He eventually decides to let them medically experiment on him. He
is given this gland that releases Quick Silver. That Quick Silver bends
light and makes him invisible. The catch is he need an injection of
counter agent or he goes insane after so much usage.
There will be spoilers in my review of the The Invisible Man Season One
television show. There were so many different directions this show could
have gone. It was decided to make it a spy show that comes across more
like a cop show. Darien Fawkes is teamed up with Robert Hobbes in the
Agency. They go off solving cases from the department of Fish and Game.
In the last episode the Agency is moved to the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
They go on a case where they find Bigfoot can naturally go invisible.
The issues families can have with The Invisible Man Season One are
theft, stealing, bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust,
violence, sex outside of marriage, blood, and more. The Invisible Man
Season One does not try to even keep it real in some parts. A man and a
bigfoot get blown up thanks to a grenade. Nothing is left of either of
them. There should be some parts of at least the bigfoot left over.
Chrysalis is a secret organization in The Invisible Man Season One that
is at odds with the Agency quite a bit. The goals of this secret
organization are a bit vague. They want to save the world from some
upcoming cataclysm but we never find out what that is in The Invisible
Man Season One. Darien falls for one of their agents and eventually
turns her to his side. She is then killed by her own organization. There
are hints of the Keeper and Darien having a relationship at times in The
Invisible Man Season One.
The special effects on the invisibility are decent in The Invisible Man
Season One. The acting is well done. There is some humor within this
show. There is so much potential here that was totally wasted in my
humble opinion.
