The Marvels
SCORE: 62
There had been so much said about The Marvels that I expected this
movie to be absolutely horrible, abysmal, and a complete waste of time
and money. The good news is the time to watch The Marvels was only 105
minutes. Which is short for a Marvel Studios movie. I have not watched
anything on Disney+ in a year and a half to maybe two years. I obviously
missed some of the content that led up to The Marvels.
There will be spoilers in my review of The Marvels. I think both sides
are right when it comes to why The Marvels was such a flop. First and
foremost millions upon millions are sick and tired of the woke
supremacists trying to brain wash everyone into their rebellion against
God religious preachings and teachings. On the other hand there is no
more innovation or interest in these movies. They feel cookie cutter and
the same thing over and over again.
The issues families can have with The Marvels are lack of attire,
enticement to lust, violence, bad language, promotion of sexual deviancy
and more. The Marvels could easily be seen as part of the war on men.
The best part about The Marvels are these cats that have tentacles that
come out of their mouths and eat a variety of characters. Later the cats
will spit them out which is where the humor comes in.
The Marvels is mainly about this Kree that wants to restore her home
planet that died thanks to Captain Marvel. Somehow Ms. Marvel, Captain
Marvel, and this black chick who does not want to identify with any name
swap places while using their powers. I am still not clear how their
powers were entangled. The Marvels does not do a good job of explaining
much of anything. Viewers are expected to just know what is going on.
After the bad lady is vanquished and Ms. Marvel gets two bracelets we
get some interesting scenes. The first one shows the MCU is working on
an all women Avengers. You thought the all women X-Men was bad, the DEI
Avengers will most likely be worse. The X-Men in another universe is
actually more interesting. It was cool to see Beast. I have no idea who
that lady is supposed to be though. I did some research and found out
she is Binary.
