The Ultimates #2

The Ultimates #2 cost me $4.99 to purchase. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within The Ultimates #2. We get two pages of comic book content, then an intro page, roster page, and then the credits page. Advertisements can be found all throughout the The Ultimates #2 comic book. There is a page near the end of The Ultimates #2 devoted to the very next issue.

There will be spoilers in this review of the The Ultimates #2 comic book. Families need to be aware of violence and blood in The Ultimates #2. There is also an attempt to attack and redefine the past in The Ultimates #2. If kids do now know the real history there is a danger that entertainment like The Ultimates #2 can skew their viewpoint. Of course The Ultimates #2 is written by radical far leftists.

The team in The Ultimates #2 goes to the White House and meets Midas. He is in charge of this particular area of the world. He claims he bought the White House. He just had to dispose of the previous tenant. America as we know it is not alive in The Ultimates #2. The people are oppressed, and Midas justifies it. A woman with some cosmic powers is trapped in the basement of the White House.

The team saves this woman in The Ultimates #2. The downside is she is what powers their grid. That means a lot of people will suffer without power. We are talking about people in hospitals, and not being able to cook meals. I suspect the poor will really suffer without power in The Ultimates #2. Sadly this comic book does not address that particular problem. I wish it did.

I feel like The Ultimates #2 is overpriced for the amount of comic book content we receive. The art is also not very good in parts of The Ultimates #2. I am a big believer in sticking to truth. I have stood up against those bullies trying to force everyone to accept attempts to redefine things. The Ultimates #2 is a real letdown in that regard. The Ultimates #2 does not even try to stand up to the attempts to redefine. I wish the writers had more courage in this comic book.
