The Ultimates #3
SCORE: 61
I found out that the sixth issue of this comic book series will wrap
up the current storyline. I decided I will stop reading The Ultimates
after that issue. That also means there are multiple more to purchase
and read. The Ultimates #3 contains twenty pages of comic book content
and cost me $4.99. The page count of The Ultimates keeps dropping but
the price stays too high.
There will be spoilers in my review of the The Ultimates #3 comic book.
The issues families can have with The Ultimates #3 are violence, blood,
promotion of evolution, false gods, and more. Three of the characters go
to Monster Island in The Ultimates #3. The Hulk set off a gamma bomb
that changed or killed a lot of the people, animals, and plant life on
this island in The Ultimates #3.
Ironlad is trying to recruit some of the stronger characters to his
cause. One of them agrees only if Ironlad cleans up their island. In
essence get rid of the all of the radiation. They want to be able to eat
their food and drink their water without getting gamma radiation
poisoning anymore. This sounds like an insanely difficult thing to do in
The Ultimates #3.
To make matters even worse - The Hulk is watching this island because it
is still an active experiment to him. So this crew of characters needs
to try and clean up the island under his nose. There is one major
problem for Ironlad and his crew in The Ultimates #3. The Hulk is
already watching, and The Hulk already knows what they are planning. The
Hulk is not going to sit by and let them tamper with his experiment.
There are two confidential pages within The Ultimates #3. These two
pages give the reader some more information about this island and what
happened. There are some monster huge beasts on this island. Some of
them are killed over Ironlad's wishes. The Ultimates #3 did not impress
me. There are plenty of wasted pages. For example we have one page with
a recap, another page with character roster, and other page with the
credits.
