The Uncanny X-Men #701
SCORE: 58
I made a decision at our local comic book store recently to see what
this X-Men reboot was all about. So that meant purchasing The Uncanny
X-Men #701. It has the legacy number and the #1 number on this comic
book. It cost me $5.99 to purchase a copy of the The Uncanny X-Men #701
comic book. There are thirty pages within The Uncanny X-Men #701. That
is not a very good deal. I know other comics that cost less for the same
page count.
There will be spoilers in my review of the The Uncanny X-Men #701 comic
book. The issues families can have with The Uncanny X-Men #701 are
violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, false
gods, evolution religious beliefs taught and more. Advertisements can be
found all throughout the The Uncanny X-Men #701 comic book. There are
two X-Mentions pages, and an editors page.
There are different storylines woven in and through The Uncanny X-Men
#701. With Xavier gone the different characters are struggling to find
their way. The mansion they once called a school is being converted into
a prison by Doctor Ellis. She wants to be called the warden though. I am
not clear on who the first prisoner actually is. I am also not clear on
the crime.
Wolverine, Gambit and Rogue participate in some missions in The Uncanny
X-Men #701. They meet this giant dragon on top of a pyramid. They fight
it, and Gambit makes this monster some sort of a deal. Rogue then gets a
call to go to a hospital. It is some sort of make a wish kind of thing
where a sick kid wants to meet them. The kid has a stroke and winds up
dying.
There is a Fawn character running from other characters. Some Mother
character is after her. I think she is after other characters in The
Uncanny X-Men #701 as well. Right at the end other character show up to
the campsite where Wolverine, Gambit and Rogue are. By the way when did
Rogue's power change? She can touch others without sapping their powers
and life away now.
