Thor god of thunder #1
SCORE: 59
There are some comic books that sit in the pile awaiting my attention
for quite a few months. Thor god of thunder #1 is something that I was
given for free on Free Comic Book Day 2023. I am finally getting to it
close to a year later. I finally worked Thor god of thunder #1 into my
reading list after getting caught up on the new ones, and reading some
of the older comic books. I hoped for some redeeming qualities in this
comic book.
There will be spoilers in this review. Thor god of thunder #1 deals with
Thor finding out about some character that kills off these false gods.
Well more than kills to be totally transparent. This character butchers
then into multiple different parts. Thor god of thunder #1 was released
in January in the year of our one and true Lord 2013. There are twenty
pages of comic book content within Thor god of thunder #1.
The issues families will have with Thor god of thunder #1 are blood,
gore, lack of attire, enticement to lust, false gods, bad language, sex
outside of marriage, and more. Advertisements can be found all
throughout the Thor god of thunder #1 comic book. Thor is a horrible
role model in Thor god of thunder #1. I am a bit shocked anyone thought
this comic book was a good idea. I see it only lasted a few years so
that should tell you something.
I do not plan on purchasing more of this comic book. Thor god of thunder
#1 puts readers into three different time periods. We learn about things
that happened in the past. We are in the presents and then we get to see
a horrible and dark future. Gorr is referenced in Thor god of thunder #1
but does not make an appearance. I think a similar character was shown
in one of the M-She-U Thor movies.
In the present portion of Thor god of thunder #1 we find Thor going to
some alien planet to protect these people. Although how he protects them
is a bit of a mystery to me. This little alien girl prays to him and he
appears. Like putting a quarter in the gumball machine. Thor
investigates what happened to the rulers of that world only to find they
were slaughtered as well.
