Toy Story #0

This review is a celebration from start to finish. First off I finally got caught up on the new comic books and was able to get to one of the comic books that came from Noah or Peter. I think Toy Story #0 came from Noah. I just asked him and he confirmed it. I am pretty stoked about getting to review this comic book. Toy Story #0 comes from 2009, and it cost me $2.99. There will be spoilers in this review.

Andy gets a new toy in a month there are no birthdays or holidays. The different toys are curious to see what gift came from grandma in Toy Story #0. Can you guess what grandma sent to Andy? Well she sent him another copy of Buzz Lightyear. The toys should have stayed away before mom could take this toy to the toy store and exchange it for one Andy does not currently have.

Sadly the toys go and check it out. Mainly Buzz Lightyear because he recognizes the box shape as being from Star Command. Woody tries to stop Buzz from doing this. The Buzz Lightyear in the box decides he should stay and the original Buzz Lightyear should go. The two of them compare things, and wind up tussling. The original Buzz Lightyear gets put into the box and returned to the store. Mom and Andy come back with another toy from that line.

There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Toy Story #0. The credits are on the back of the front cover of this comic book. There is also a page in the Toy Story #0 comic book where there is a column from the editor, and Questions and Answers with Shelli Paroline. I found these to be interesting. The art is okay within Toy Story #0. There is some humor in the character interactions.

There are a few advertisements within the Toy Story #0 comic book. I knew about some of the comic books in the Disney lineup for Boom Kids. I know we have some of them in my bin of comic books I need to read. I am curious to see where this storyline goes in the future. I may need to find time and money to invest in some of these other comic books when I have an opening.
