Transformers 2023 #4
SCORE: 60
I am getting to the point where I need to make a decision on this
series. Thus far this Image Comics run of Transformers has not impressed
me. It is macabre, morbid, annoying, irritating, and has horrible ugly,
dirty, noisy artwork in it. I actually sent the people behind this comic
book an email about the horrible art a couple of issues back and they
are not publishing my comments. They only publish the brown nosers that
tell them what they want to hear.
There will be spoilers in this review of Transformers 2023 #4. The only
potential saving grace about Transformers 2023 #4 is there are some
interesting aspects of the storyline. Optimus Prime gets the humans to
the hospital to save their lives. Starscream decides to attack and the
Autobots are able to fend off his attack. Both sides are getting low on
resources. Optimus uses the matrix to save the people in the hospital.
Starscream attacks the hospital when he realizes it where the humans are
repaired. Why though? Honestly it makes no sense to me at all. He could
kill Optimus Prime and end the Autobot threat on Earth forever and
instead decides to go on a killing spree of humans. If he took out the
Autobots then he could go to town on the humans are often as he likes.
The lack of logic in Transformers 2023 #4 baffles me.
The issues families will have with Transformers 2023 #4 are violence,
bad language, blood, false gods, and more. We get twenty-two pages of
comic book content within Transformers 2023 #4. There are also two pages
of letters in Transformers 2023 #4. We get the same sneak peek into
Cobra Commander in Transformers 2023 #4. By the way I am reading the
Cobra Commander series and it is pretty lame.
There might be an Energon solution for the Autobots in Transformers 2023
#4. I will need to keep reading this comic book series to find out. The
front of the back cover of Transformers 2023 #4 contains the credits.
There is no recap in Transformers 2023 #4. If you missed the previous
issues then you have no way of knowing what happened. I am still on the
fence on this series. I am not big on the bad language and blood.
