Transformers 2023 #5
SCORE: 61
I am beginning to notice a pattern in this comic book series. I will
get into that in just a little bit in this review of the Transformers
2023 #5 comic book. There are twenty pages of comic book content within
Transformers 2023 #5. There are also two pages devoted to letters sent
in relation to this comic book series. There are some advertisements
near the end of the Transformers 2023 #5 comic book.
There will be spoilers in this review. I noticed many of the ads in
Transformers 2023 #5 are card games of some sort. I really am not a fan
of the card battling games personally. The art continues to be dark,
noisy and ugly within Transformers 2023 #5. A few issues back I sent in
a letter telling them I am not a fan of the artwork. It was in response
to the editor challenging a reader to find someone that did not like the
artwork. The only letters they are showing are the ones that kiss up to
them.
The issues families can have with Transformers 2023 #5 are violence,
blood, and more. The pattern being used in this comic book series is to
throw out some new character(s) when it looks like one side is going to
win. So Starscream attacks the Autobots when they are getting energy to
fix their comrades. RC is fixed and then turns the tide of the battle
there. When the Autobots attack the Decepticons then the Constructicons
make an appearance to shift the balance of power in their direction.
The credits in Transformers 2023 #5 can be found on the front of the
back cover. Initially I planned to stop reading this comic book series
after this issue. I have decided to give this Transformers comic book a
few more issues to make that final determination. I still do not like
the artwork. I am becoming less interested in the who will appear next
to shift the power balance the other direction. It honestly is getting
lame because I know someone will appear.
Optimus is getting so abused in Transformers 2023 #5. I hope at some
point he will get to heal. This back and forth of attacks is also
getting a bit on the old and lame side. I do not expect either side to
finish off the other side anytime soon. It would be nice if there was
some form of a cease fire for the sides to build up. I guess this series
wants to keep throwing in some new character here and there to keep
readers interested.
