X-Men '97 #4

Thankfully I had the #3.99 to purchase a copy of the X-Men '97 #4 comic book. This is the fourth and final issue in this limited run series. I have plenty to say about that in the near future. There are twenty pages of comic book content within X-Men '97 #4. Advertisements can be found all throughout this comic book. the first page in X-Men '97 #4 is a recap/credits page.

There will be spoilers in my review of the X-Men '97 #4 comic book. There is some violent content within X-Men '97 #4 as mutants fight one another. At the baby shower for the Scott and Jean is where X-Men '97 #4 takes place. Bad mutants attack the party and it is taken outside. The house was damaged, and I have to ask who pays to have it repaired. X-Men '97 #4 did not address that.

Sabretooth does not show for the battle in X-Men '97 #4. In fact he just meets with Mr Sinister. Sabretooth even references that if his team cannot defeat the X-Men then they are lightweights. Call me crazy but the more you have on your side the better it is for you. After all it might take three or four of your guys to take out one of their guys. But when you let them all go to prison - well what chance do you have in the future?

The X-Men win in X-Men '97 #4 because Scott seeks the advice of Wolverine. The idea Wolverine has in X-Men '97 #4 is to switch up dance partners. Have different X-Men fight different bad guys. That way the powers can be in their advantage. It makes sense. Do not let them dictate who fights who. It is a nice moment where Scott consults Wolverine in X-Men '97 #4.

All in all this series felt pointless and like a waste of time. Nothing important happened. What was the point of this series? Mr Sinister still wants the child - which has not even been born yet. The X-Men are now on heightened alert. Multiple mutants were captured in X-Men '97 #4. The front cover of this comic book is cool. I plan on watching the show on Disney+ at some future date.
