Aquaman #2

I was pretty high on this series after the first issue. I am not so big on Aquaman after reading the second issue. There will be spoilers in my review of the Aquaman #2 comic book. The cost of this comic book was $3.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within Aquaman #2. There are also four pages of a preview for Zatanna #1. Those preview pages did not interest me though.

The issues families can have with Aquaman #2 are false gods, violence, blood and more. Aquaman shows up on a pretty dry world in this comic book. These giant lizard beasts show up to collect Aquaman and take him to this lady. Aquaman fights them off and forces them to take him to see their leader. She controls these vines.

Aquaman is captured in this comic book. Aquaman is in trouble because these vines are slowly draining his blood. There is another character there in Aquaman #2. He instructs Aquaman to use his power to on the blood. It is a liquid after all. Aquaman is able to free himself and the other gentleman in this comic book. This man frees a woman as well.

Aquaman goes after the lady that is controlling this area. Aquaman winds up killing her. Not very heroic if you ask me. In fact that is part of the reason I am souring on this series. This comic book ends with the two other humans bowing down and worshipping Aquaman. I hope he corrects them and quickly if you catch my drift.

There are still mysteries to learn about in this place. The man that Aquaman found in this comic book is supposed to be a previous king of Atlantis. How long has this man been missing? Where are the people of Atlantis now? There are still mysteries to uncover and learn. I will give this series a bit more time. Right now I am not sure.
