Fast and Furious Showdown
SCORE: 66
I am constantly looking for ways to bring in more video game reviews
to our magazine, website, video channels and more. I know we do all of
these different things, but video games reviews is one of the first
things Family Friendly Gaming was known for. I recently had a little
extra time and decided to mess with Fast and Furious Showdown on the
Nintendo 3DS. I have plenty of hand held video games that are awaiting
my attention.
Fast and Furious Showdown is the perfect candidate for why Nintendo DS
and Nintendo 3DS video games need to be playable on bigger screens. The
speed is so fast and cars on the roads are hard to see. I would have
very little time to react before crashing into something in Fast and
Furious Showdown. It might be a wall, a semi, a truck, a car, or another
racer. Fast and Furious Showdown needs to be playable on a bigger
screen. Nintendo Switch 2 perhaps?
The controls for Fast and Furious Showdown on the Nintendo 3DS feel a
little odd to me. We beat races, earn experience, and unlock more races.
The cars look nice, and the voice acting sounds great in this hand held
racing video game. The racing in Fast and Furious Showdown is on the
more challenging side. There are not a lot of tracks and not a lot of
racers in Fast and Furious Showdown.
The music in Fast and Furious Showdown is pretty jamming. I enjoyed
listening it while trying to get into first place. I liked the
references to the different characters within Fast and Furious Showdown.
I had a little fun playing Fast and Furious Showdown. I also got stuck
at one point and was unable to progress in this story driven racing
video game. This is a sad truth in a lot of hand held video games that
also have console versions.
There are plenty of things to break in Fast and Furious Showdown. We can
also smash into other cars in Fast and Furious Showdown. Be careful how
much you bash and crash in Fast and Furious Showdown. If you take too
much damage then you will lose the level. Which is really lame since
these races are on the longer side. If you love Fast and Furious then
you might have a little fun with Fast and Furious Showdown until you get
stuck.
