Gargoyles Quest #5
SCORE: 67
People have asked me if I ever get tired of being right. The answer
is never. The reason is I make plenty of mistakes. I am constantly
cleaning up my own mistakes, and the mistakes of others again and again.
So getting it right feels good. I never get tired of that feeling. What
about you? Plus what does this have to do with Gargoyles Quest #5. I
predicted this issue would be the last one and I was right.
There might be some other Gargoyles series that comes up in the future.
We will see. Gargoyles Quest #5 cost me $4.99. There are twenty-four
pages of comic book content within Gargoyles Quest #5. There are some
advertisement pages, and a cover gallery within Gargoyles Quest #5.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Gargoyles Quest #5 comic
book. Magistra completely controls the humans at the start of Gargoyles
Quest #5.
There is an interesting concept within Gargoyles Quest #5. The idea of
controlling the humans means the Gargoyles will never be harmed by
humans again. In a way the Gargoyles are ensuring their futures.
Gargoyles in Gargoyles Quest #5 from the future discuss how Magistra was
not in control of the humans in their time. That does not tell them how
long the reign is though. It could be for decades.
Goliath goes after Magistra in Gargoyles Quest #5. The daughter of
Magistra is able to give the humans commands when her mother leaves.
This helps the Gargoyles win in the end. There are betrayals that are
discovered in Gargoyles Quest #5. After the fight one of the Gargoyles
is banished. He is happy to work with Magistra in the future since his
goal is the protection of the Gargoyles.
The little twist in Gargoyles Quest #5 is that the Gargoyle eggs were
stolen in Gargoyles Quest #5. Magistra may have lost the magical relic
and control of the humans but she did get her hands on the eggs. She can
raise them in the way she sees fit. I suspect there will be some story
continuation at some point. Gargoyles Quest #5 does feel a bit rushed in
the end to me.
