Lego Party

I absolutely love being surprised in a good way. Lego Party did that for me in spades. First and foremost I have a pile of video games to get through. Each month we get more games and the pile gets bigger. So I added Lego Party to my one shot live stream section. I even fast tracked this video game because I thought it might have some potential. I do not get my hopes up because I have been burned way too many times.

The more I played Lego Party the more I liked it. This is a party game done with Legos. There are four game boards in Lego Party. The game boards as Ninjago, Pirates, Space, and Theme Park. These are pretty large maps with multiple different places to go to. There are items that can help us make better rolls in Lego Party. Or maybe you want to go backwards for a turn in terms of movement. There is an item for that. There are party games between the rounds in Lego Party.

We earn in game currency that can be spent on more different Lego outfits in Lego Party. We can play the sixty mini games at our own leisure in Lego Party. There are different large Lego characters that will appear in Lego Party too. Get the proper spin and you can get a gold brick from them. Get to where the golden character is and he will sell you a golden brick if you have enough studs. The winner is the player with the most golden bricks. Studs would be the tie breaker.

The announcers in Lego Party are a load of fun. I loved listening to them while playing Lego Party. They had all these humorous things to say. The music and themed boards have some neat music to listen to as well. Lego Party feels like a game show mixed with a party game. Players can practice a mini game before actually playing it. I loved doing that. A few of the controls took a few tries to figure out.

I have played a lot of different Lego video games in the past. Lego Party rockets up to the top in terms of the Lego video games I have played in my life. I really liked playing Lego Party. Up to four family members can enjoy Lego Party at the same time. I played it by myself with three computer controlled characters. If you have the Internet and PlayStation Plus then Lego Party can be played online. I hope this game turns into a franchise.
