Marvel Rivals
SCORE: 61
I was planning on live streaming Infinity Nikki one Thursday night on
Twitch but the game was down for maintenance during the one hour I have
available a week to play it. I decided to pivot and check out Marvel
Rivals. Noah immediately told me that Marvel Rivals is just an Overwatch
clone and wanna be. I played Marvel Rivals and cannot disagree with Noah
on that. There are thirty-five Marvel characters that play on twelve
different maps.
I found the match making in Marvel Rivals is horrible. I lost multiple
matches in a row while trying to figure out how to even control this
game. Marvel Rivals does a horrible job letting you know who is on your
team of six and who is on the other team of six players. I kept trying
to attack my own team thinking they were on the other team. I also had
issues learning how to play different characters in Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals looks okay with the cell shading in the 3D environments.
Marvel Rivals contains plenty of destructible objects. There were not a
lot of different kinds of matches I found in my hour of gameplay. We
would need to capture an area, guide a vehicle somewhere or do the
opposite. I did not really have much playing Marvel Rivals. Groot was
slow but powerful. There are fast characters like Wolverine.
The issues families can have with Marvel Rivals are violence, lack of
attire, enticement to lust, false gods, and more. I also ran into
glitches trying to get into Marvel Rivals. The servers of this free to
download and free to play video game are not always working right in
Marvel Rivals. I can see how players could get frustrated with Marvel
Rivals. I was on the verge of it myself.
There are numerous characters, skins and more that can be purchased in
Marvel Rivals. There are all kinds of missions to perform to earn extras
in Marvel Rivals. I doubt I will go back to Marvel Rivals though. I did
not really enjoy this game. The match making is really bad. I was either
on a team that lost badly or won easily. By the way I was little help on
either of those outcomes.
