New Champions #1
SCORE: 64
I may have asked for a copy of New Champions #1 to read from our
local comic book store. I may not have asked. I am not entirely sure.
What I am sure of is I will not be reading this series after this first
issue. New Champions #1 cost $4.99. There are twenty-five pages of comic
book content within New Champions #1. There are twenty pages of the
story, and then after that five pages explaining the team.
Advertisements can be found all throughout the New Champions #1 comic
book. There will be spoilers in my review of the New Champions #1 comic
book. The issues families can have with New Champions #1 are violence,
sexual deviancy, lack of attire, enticement to lust, mild language,
magic, and more. These teen heroes stop these guys from robbing the
vault. Then they go back to their normal teenage lives.
One of the team members Hellrune is trying to find any person she is
related to. Hydra did some brainwashing and the kids were separated from
their families. Three of the four got reconnected with their families.
Hellrune has not as of yet. She has dark magic she uses in New Champions
#1. She sent magical crows out to find someone related to her by blood.
One came back with a location.
This is were things take a turn for the worse in New Champions #1. There
are magic runes and Hellrune discovers it was a trap. New Champions #1
also lets readers know that dark magic can be tricky if you are not
explicit with it. Hellrune asks for the New Champions to be brought to
her in New Champions #1. All kinds of different side kicks and heroes
wind up showing up to fight zombie trolls and zombie Vikings.
Hellrune has created quite the mess in New Champions #1. I expect she
will apologize and clean up the mess. I expect she will get smarter with
that magical staff in the future. Although it looks like they did need
the assistance in New Champions #1. Like I said before I do not plan on
reading any more of this series. For the amount of content I feel that
New Champions #1 is overpriced.
