One World Under Doom #1
SCORE: 62
Months ago I read about the One World Under Doom series that was
coming. Doom was going to conquer the world after becoming the sorcerer
supreme in Marvel. The cost of One World Under Doom #1 to me was $5.99.
There are thirty pages of comic book content within One World Under Doom
#1. I know of plenty of comic books that sell for $4.99 and they also
have thirty pages of comic book content.
One World Under Doom #1 starts with a page from the Latverian press
Office, then a character page, and then the comic book content. There
are a few advertisements within One World Under Doom #1. We also get two
credits pages near the end of One World Under Doom #1. A page devoted to
the next issue also shows up in One World Under Doom #1. There will be
spoilers in my review of this comic book.
The issues families can have with One World Under Doom #1 are violence,
blood, false gods, and more. Doom is very arrogant in One World Under
Doom #1. Doom has each leader of each country submit to him. Doom
decided there will be no more wars, and universal health care. Military
leaders that tried to fight back are quickly murdered in One World Under
Doom #1. The heroes meet to figure out what to do.
There are some questions among the heroes about how Doom took over all
these countries. Did he use magic to brainwash the leaders? Did he
replace leaders with Doom bots? One World Under Doom #1 feels like
liberal propaganda in terms of programs they want and find important.
Thing is these have been tried in multiple places and failed each and
every single time. One World Under Doom #1 teaches the heroes stood in
the way of progress.
The heroes notice that Hydra is resisting Doom in this comic book. They
find the leader of Hydra and discover he is a Doom Bot. The real genuine
character was murdered by Doom. When the heroes release the truth Doom
acknowledges the lie and points out the heroes never stopped this
villain for all these years. One World Under Doom #1 is overpriced and
really an attack on our system.
