Punisher War Journal

Noah purchased Punisher War Journal at our local comic book store for $7.99. This graphic novel was originally selling for $15.99. It was in the fifty percent off section. Punisher War Journal includes Punisher War Journal Blitz, Punisher War Journal Brother, and Punisher War Journal Base. Those are from 2022 to 2023. There are one hundred and twelve pages of content within Punisher War Journal.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Punisher War Journal graphic novel. The issues families can have with Punisher War Journal are violence, lack of attire, bad language, blood, gore, evolution and more. There is no one cohesive story within Punisher War Journal. In fact I am not sure what the point of grouping these three together. The first two have some sort of connection, and the last one is not connected at all.

I had not read anything related to the Punisher in some time. Punisher War Journal has two issues where the Punisher is called Lord Fist and he is over these red ninjas. I have zero idea what that is about. It does help with the Punisher surviving these massive battles with all of these bad guys though. A few red ninjas die here and there in Punisher War Journal. They are very expendable.

The Punisher is hunting down this man in one and eventually gets to him and kills him. The next story has the Punisher being hunted by these criminals that are using technology and rewards to have the man killed. Maria the wife of the Punisher is alive in the second issue in Punisher War Journal. By the way Maria is also alive in the third issue within Punisher War Journal.

The third issue looks like a flashback to right after Frank Castle came back from war. He is trying to get into the groove of living a civilian lifestyle. He and his wife Maria are going to counseling to deal with their feelings. Frank really wants to get back to war since that is what makes more sense to him. He finds some mob guys torturing people in a house in his neighborhood and saves the hostages.
