Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #131
SCORE: 74
There are some clever things within Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #131
and there are some disappointments. This comic book cost me $2.99. There
are two stories within Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #131. Each of these
two stories within Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #131 is ten pages long.
That brings the full comic book content to twenty pages. There is also a
seven page preview of Anti-Hero in Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #131.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Scooby-Doo! Where Are You?
#131 comic book. The first story within Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #131
is Scaries Not Included. The gang goes to a toy fair near Christmas.
Please note that Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #131 went to great lengths
to avoid mentioning Christmas. Holidays, Santa, and Elves are all
present in this story, but Christmas is left out.
The second story within Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #131 is Not Just
Yeti. In this story there is a Yeti in the middle of a climbing wall.
The gang must try to climb the wall to check out the Yeti in this story.
They notice the yeti has a harness on so it will not fall. That is when
they realize it is a person - Hy. Hy is from a competitors climbing wall
business. He runs back to where his business is.
The first story in Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #131 has a security guard
dressing up like an evil elf. This security guard got his toys broken as
a kid and the people at this toy fair are horrible, mean, rude, nasty,
and selfish. So he wants to teach them a lesson by running around the
toy fair in this costume. He is arrested but I am not really clear what
the charges would be.
I have noticed after reading many of the Scooby-Doo! Where Are You?
comic books that the logic does not always apply or stay consistent. One
person is arrested and another is allowed to get away once they are
unmasked. Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #131 also disappointed me by
refusing to say Christmas. Why? The Anti-Hero preview in Scooby-Doo!
Where Are You? #131 did not interested me.
