Star Wars Jedi Knights #1
SCORE: 69
Star Wars Jedi Knights #1 appeared in my haul one of my trips to the
local comic book store. I could not recall if I asked for it or not. I
decided to give it a try. Star Wars Jedi Knights #1 contains twenty-five
pages of comic book content. The price of Star Wars Jedi Knights #1 is
$4.99. I am noticing more and more comic books are going to the $4.99
price point. Some contain twenty-two pages, some twenty-five pages, and
some thirty pages.
I will include spoilers in my review of the Star Wars Jedi Knights #1
comic book. The first page in this comic book is the intro and credits
page. Two Outer Rim planets are in the state of war in Star Wars Jedi
Knights #1. The two planets are Vekura, and Syrinx Prime. The Supreme
Chancellor and the Galactic Senate have sent the Jedi Knights to broker
a peace in Star Wars Jedi Knights #1.
The Jedi goes to both sides and have a conversation. The Jedi Mind Trick
is tried and fails on one of them in Star Wars Jedi Knights #1 as well.
Both sides claim the politics are complex and centuries old. Master Yoda
comes up with a solution since neither side want to come to the
negotiating table. The Jedi destroy a massive amount of the ability for
both planets to go to war. They are then forced to talk about.
Star Wars Jedi Knights #1 hints that the war is resolved by this action.
There are some other things that happen in Star Wars Jedi Knights #1.
For example an assassin attacks two Jedi Knights. What we later learn in
Star Wars Jedi Knights #1 is that this assassin was targeting Qui-Gon
Jinn. There was a tracker in his cloak. who put it there? Why was it
there? These questions are left for a future issue.
Advertisements can be found throughout the Star Wars Jedi Knights #1
comic book. Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi is learning about visions of the
future in Star Wars Jedi Knights #1. He has a session with Master Yoda
where he sees his Master Qui-Gon Jinn being killed by this assassin. He
wants to know how to tell if the vision will come true or not. Star Wars
Jedi Knights #1 does a decent job of making readers want to continue the
series.
