Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Naruto #1
SCORE: 70
When I first heard about this short limited run series that would
combine TMNT and Naruto I knew I had to read and review it. I asked my
local comic book store to add it to my pull. They got the second one but
missed the first one, so I went to eBay and paid extra money to purchase
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Naruto #1. I am glad I did because
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Naruto #1 is really epic.
The original cost of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Naruto #1 comic
book is $4.99. I spent over ten dollars to get a copy with shipping and
handling. Thankfully it got here before the month started and it was in
the FFG Haul and I can get back into some comic book reviews. Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles X Naruto #1 contains twenty-two pages of comic book
content. There is a page devoted to the next issue, two pages of the
cover gallery, ads, and IDW View from the back page.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
X Naruto #1 comic book. A black April O'Neil had a clandestine meeting
with Tsunade. Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi are escorting the
black April O'Neil back to her New York City village. The Foot Clan
shows up and that brings the Turtles to take out the Foot Clan. The
Turtles then want to free April from the Naruto ninjas.
Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi wind up fighting the Turtles and
Master Splinter in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Naruto #1. The art is
a little weird in my book but decent. The fighting between the ninjas in
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Naruto #1 is really good. There is
definitely a Naruto flavor to the fighting in Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles X Naruto #1.
Kakashi winds up taking off the masks of the Turtles and Splinter and
identifies who they are. I expect the fighting between these groups is
now done. I suspect the next issue will have them starting to work
together and get to know one another a little bit. Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles X Naruto #1 is just as cool as I thought it would be. I am
curious to find out what is going on with April and the reason for her
visit. April gives some information but more is needed.
