The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2
SCORE: 67
I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the The
Bitmap Brothers Collection 2 compilation cartridge on the Evercade.
There are six Amiga video games on The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2.
This is the eighth retro computer compilation on the Evercade. The games
on The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2 are Cadaver, Cadaver The Payoff,
gods, Magic Pockets, The Chaos Engine 2, and Z. There are two adventure
games, two platformers, one action, and one strategy video game on the
The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2 cartridge.
The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2 has one more video game on it than the
first collection of The Bitmap Brothers. The Bitmap Brothers Collection
2 does seem to rely heavily on the Cadaver franchise. Those games are
interesting, but also confusing. I like the isometric viewpoint in the
Cadaver games. I am not a fan on trying to figure out what to do with
what item. It makes those games feel like the point and click ones.
The gods game in The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2 is by far the worst of
the entire collection. We are challenging these false gods in levels
that are not very intuitive. I found how easy it is to die in that game.
The controls were also on the confusing side. I also ran into control
issues with Z which is a strategy game. I actually played Z in the past
on the PC. It was a bad experience then and continues to be one now. It
is also ultra difficult. Expect to lose and a lot in Z.
The issues families can have with The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2 are
violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, crude
humor, false gods, and more. The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2 is not an
example of the best and brightest in terms of video games from the past.
In a lot of ways much of The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2 compilation is
what not to do in the future.
Out of all of the games on The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2 I like Magic
Pockets the best. This platformer has some charm to it and is one of
those video games you can play again and again. The Chaos Engine 2 on
The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2 cartridge had potential but fell flat.
We and a computer controlled character must battle it out against two
computer controlled characters. Unlock the door and go in. Or camp and
win.
