Web of Spider-Man

Hopefully by now you know the drill. Noah found Web of Spider-Man at our local comic book store on the fifty percent off table. This graphic novel contains Web of Spider-Man issues #1 through #5. That series was from 2021. I did a little research to see this was a limited run series and this graphic novel contains all of the issues that were released. Web of Spider-Man contains the entire storyline.

I will include spoilers in my review of the Web of Spider-Man graphic novel. I estimate there are one hundred and ten pages in this graphic novel - at least of comic book content. There are also front covers contained within Web of Spider-Man. This graphic novel is a bit lower in terms of the read for kids. Those kids should be at least ten years or older due to the violent content.

Web of Spider-Man is about this group of really intelligent young people that are working on different projects. Their secure site gets hacked by holograms. The holograms eventually get caught and dissipated until only one major one remains. The kids chase after the hologram and Peter Parker must lie to his new friends and change to Spider-Man. They eventually stop the theft by knocking out the power in a large area.

Iron Man is over this group and he is not happy with them. They are sent on a plane to Paris. Before they can land they are attacked again. They must land the plane and stay alive. Once they do, Beast Boy is not happy with them. There are also questions about who is the villain behind these attacks. It looks like Green Goblin but does not act like Green Goblin in Web of Spider-Man.

Near the end of Web of Spider-Man we learn that Mendel Stromm is behind the attacks. I will admit that I am not familiar with that name at all. I did a bit of research to learn about this character. He is honestly not that memorable. I get he is a man's head with a robot's body. Aside from that sort of forgettable. The kids wind up stopping this bad guy in Web of Spider-Man.
