Zootopia #1
SCORE: 76
It has been a very long time since I watched the Zootopia movie. I do
remember it fondly though. When I found out about Zootopia #1 in comic
book form I decided to get it added to my comic book pull. We follow the
Bunny and Fox officers in Zootopia #1. The cost of this comic book brand
new was $4.99. There are twenty-one pages of comic book content within
Zootopia #1. Then a page for the next issue, ads, and three pages of the
cover gallery.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Zootopia #1 comic book. The
different officers are being given their assignments at the beginning of
the day in Zootopia #1. The bunny and fox realize they are left out so
they want to know what their assignment will be. They find out they are
taking care of crowd control at the airport in Zootopia #1. Why is the
airport so special in Zootopia #1?
There is a tech event where a new phone is being released. The zebra
releasing the new phone has received threats and wants police
protection. Two small mammals try to launch their way past security in
Zootopia #1. Those two are caught and sent back to their original
starting locations. An old lady tried to use a scratch card as her
ticket to get into the event in Zootopia #1.
The officers notice the blimp is on fire and coming toward the people.
Fox comes up with an idea for the people to leave in an orderly fashion.
They get out of there and the crew gets down safely in Zootopia #1
thanks to parachutes. The launch is ruined and all of the phones are
destroyed in Zootopia #1. As the officers interview the crew they
realize someone was a stowaway. This character is chased down in
Zootopia #1.
The small mammal that was illegally on the blimp spills the beans. He
was hired to leave a package on one of the boxes that was being shipped
to Zootopia. The security was too tight so he had to hide in the box
himself. The thing went off and started the fire. He got out of there.
He does not know who hired him since he is left cash to do the jobs.
Zootopia #1 ends with a bit of a mystery.
