Zootopia #2

I am very impressed with Zootopia #2 on so many levels. There is one minor complaint concerning this comic book that I will get to in just a little bit. The Zootopia #2 comic book cost me $4.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within Zootopia #2. We also get a page devoted to the next issue, and some advertisements in Zootopia #2. The end of Zootopia #2 is rounded off with the cover gallery pages.

Zootopia #2 is very tame for a thirteen and older rated comic book. I am not sure why this comic book is not given a lower age rating. In my opinion Zootopia #2 deserves that. There will be spoilers in my review of the Zootopia #2 comic book. It would be very challenging to write about a comic book without some spoilers. Fox and his sleep are so abused in Zootopia #2. He is kept up all night on a stake out.

Zootopia #2 starts with some ugly looking art but it is just a training video. The captain must show the police officers this reminder about how to keep themselves safe and to read the criminals their rights when they are being arrested. Fox is sleeping through this. Bunny volunteers them to go to the dump and investigate objects being stolen. Fox sleeps right on through this.

When the two police officers get to the location they find out that two criminals are picking up specific bags. It looks like a drop off and pick up point. So Bunny is put in a bag like what the criminals are looking for. Fox is waiting in the office of the dump dressed like a sanitation worker. Bunny gets picked up and Fox wakes up and follows them.

The criminals doing the pick ups are curious about what they are transporting. Turns out it is jewels. They go to open the Bunny bag and that is when the arrest is made. Fox and Bunny took a totally unrelated case that winds up being completely connected to the previous issue. That is convenient. The officers plan on making the drop and trying to find out who comes for the pick up.
