Hunter x Hunter Vol 14
SCORE: 72
It certainly took this series long enough to really catch my eye and
catch my interest. Now I can see why this series was recommended to me.
It dawned on me while reading Hunter x Hunter Vol 14 that this series is
actually getting interesting, and I am getting into it. There are two
hundred and eight pages within Hunter x Hunter Vol 14. That is eight
pages up from the last volume of this manga. The MSRP on Hunter x Hunter
Vol 14 is $11.99.
Hunter x Hunter Vol 14 contains chapters one hundred and twenty-eight
through one hundred and thirty-nine. The issues families can have with
Hunter x Hunter Vol 14 are violence, blood, bad language, magic and
more. The remaining portion of this review will include, contain, and be
all about spoilers. Gon and Killua are in the game. So are some of the
Spiders in case you were curious.
Gon and Killua come across other players in Hunter x Hunter Vol 14. They
learn about things like spells as one of the players puts a spell on
Killua to be able to trace him at any time. The duo are then approached
by a group that is trying to beat the game. They are going to get as
many players as they need to have free slots to monopolize the spell
cards. From there they will be able to muscle anyone that has cards they
need to finish the game.
Gon and Killua decide not to join that group. The Spiders think this
game is actually a different continent on their world. Biscuit wants to
join the boys as they are progressing to a town to purchase spells. The
boys decline at first in Hunter x Hunter Vol 14. Then some psycho that
likes to kill players shows up. Biscuit is able to easily hurt him. She
steals all of his cards in Hunter x Hunter Vol 14.
Gon and Killua are then tasked to fight this injured players. They do so
for many days to get stronger, and faster. At the end of the volume Gon
is able to hit this assassin in Hunter x Hunter Vol 14. They could
easily kill him, but they are thankful to him since they improved their
skills. The life and death battle they had with him taught them quite a
bit and their experience increased greatly. I expect more training to
come in the next volume.
