MechWest Season 1
SCORE: 79
Another show of interest that I found on Angel Studios is MechWest
Season 1. The premise to MechWest Season 1 is fantastic. There are these
Cowboys and Indians in MechWest Season 1. There are also mechs that are
powered by coal. These little robots do all kinds of things to help out.
There are some interesting concepts like cattle that are mechs. They are
used to transport things on a cattle drive.
There are four episodes that make up MechWest Season 1. The animation is
fantastic in MechWest Season 1. The voice acting is also very solid in
MechWest Season 1. The length of the episodes is twenty-three to
twenty-five minutes. MechWest Season 1 feels like a decent length
animated movie to me. I am a little surprised that MechWest Season 1 is
only four episodes long. It could easily be watched in one night.
Expect spoilers for the rest of this review. Pearl West is a young lady
that is into mechs. She treats them well. The people in the town think
she is a bit of a weirdo for this behavior. Pico West is her half
brother. To Pico mechs are just tools. Reed West is their father and
winds up going on a mission to help defend the town after the Perajian's
attack. Why are they attacking in MechWest Season 1?
There is a very special mech by the name of Six in MechWest Season 1.
Six is powered by a crystal and not coal. Thieves stole Six from the
Perajians. They are trying to get Six back. Six does not want to go and
Pearl winds up helping Six. The interesting thing is Pico eventually
comes around to defending Six as well in MechWest Season 1. It is a real
heart warming moment when Pico finally gets it.
Too many families are having their livelihoods destroyed in MechWest
Season 1. There are plenty of things left open at the end of the two
hours it took me to watch MechWest Season 1. The Indians are a very
interesting people in MechWest Season 1. The salesman Casey is an
interesting character in MechWest Season 1 that grows a spine. There is
a bit of violent content within MechWest Season 1 here and there. There
are also plenty of heart warming moments and humor.
