Taxi Chaos 2

I had some fun live streaming Taxi Chaos 2 on our YouTube channel.
This sequel is done by a different developer and publisher pair than the
first one. That is a little bit on the odd side. I also purchased a
physical copy of Taxi Chaos 2. That version has a different publisher
than the despised digital download version. Taxi Chaos 2 is an one
player video game experience. There is no multiplayer.
There is an arcade mode in Taxi Chaos 2. The story mode is what is
actually really interesting to me. We play Vinny who is in San Valeda.
Vinny is from New York City and his friend Cleo invited him to this
city. What Vinny finds is a talking taxi cab that takes him to Cleo.
There is one problem in Taxi Chaos 2. There are AI Taxi cabs that are
trying to run us off the road. Once we meet Cleo we get the entire story
in Taxi Chaos 2.
A shift in Taxi Chaos 2 is broken into three four minute parts. We have
the morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Any entire shift takes
twelve minutes in Taxi Chaos 2. Between shifts we can spend money on
improving the cab, or the Tech Lab base we are using. Money earned from
delivering people help. There is another aspect of Taxi Chaos 2 that was
a bit frustrating to me. That is leveling up Vinny.
The way to level up Vinny is to focus on the goals in each of the four
minute shifts. So it might be deliver three passengers, explore some
shortcut, and deliver someone in construction. I had issues figuring out
where the shortcuts were. I also had problems with finding certain
passengers or delivering someone from one neighborhood because I did not
know the entire map that well at first.
Taxi Chaos 2 looks okay and it sounds fine. I turned off the music early
just to avoid any possible copyrights. There are some odd glitches here
and there. The AI taxibots will block the road in places and the game
points you right into a wall that you cannot jump over. I then had to
explore (while on a timer) to find another way around that blockade. All
in all I enjoyed my time with Taxi Chaos 2.
