Tengoku Struggle Strayside
SCORE: 56
I need to be completely open, honest, and transparent about
something. I am not a fan of the visual novel video games. I am not into
otome video games. I find these kinds of video games to be boring, dull,
and obnoxious. I do not know why they exist. I do not know who is buying
them. The whole romance concept in this games is so disconnected from
reality that I feel they do more harm than good.
I suppose if you are a low effort streamer then games like Tengoku
Struggle Strayside are perfect. Sit there and let the computer talk in
Japanese and let the text scroll by. I want to fall asleep while
watching this unfold. Actually I would rather be slowly consumed by moss
than play a game like Tengoku Struggle Strayside. I did not know what
kind of a video game Tengoku Struggle Strayside was before playing it.
I learned really quickly that was a visual novel - aka otome. There are
five total playable routes in Tengoku Struggle Strayside. Three of them
are open from the start and two of them are unlockable. Rin Enma is the
main character in Tengoku Struggle Strayside. She is the adopted
daughter of the king of the Underworld in Tengoku Struggle Strayside.
Rin is on a mission to bring back four reformed sinners.
Tengoku Struggle Strayside is all about hell. There are multiple
different hells in Tengoku Struggle Strayside. The issues families can
have with Tengoku Struggle Strayside are violence, blood, bad language,
sexual content, lack of attire, enticement to lust, ghosts, and more.
Why was all of that needed? Why is the odd spiritual beliefs in Tengoku
Struggle Strayside being proselytized to gamers?
There is this odd talking cat character in Tengoku Struggle Strayside.
We can put the game on Auto, Skip, or Skip All. The Skip All will fast
forward all of the dialogue. It does not actually skip to the next place
a button must be pressed. I found Tengoku Struggle Strayside to be slow,
boring, and dull. The Japanese voice acting did not help things for me.
I speak English. Could I get the game in my language please?
