The Christ #8

It continues to be a pleasure to read through this series. The Christ #8 cost me $3.99. There are thirty-two pages of comic book content within The Christ #8. Bible verses are on the bottom of a great many pages in The Christ #8. The first twenty-six pages are the main story in The Christ #8. The last six pages of The Christ #8 are The Dead Brother's Story "Come Forth." There are some wonderful historical account within The Christ #8.

There will be spoilers in my review of The Christ #8 comic book. I am most curious what Kingstone+ is. There is an advertisement for it near the end of The Christ #8. I am not really clear what it is though. I may need to find some time to research that in the near future. It does bring up the point that an advertisement should let you know what it is so you can decide if you want to check it out or not.

The story at the end of The Christ #8 fleshes out Lazarus being raised from the dead. That is one of the stories within The Christ #8. I love the humor of the disciples that think they are going to die by going back into that town. The Christ #8 has a wonderful lesson throughout the entire comic book. The religious leaders at the time were more concerned with following rules than helping those in need.

Jesus really insults the religious leaders of the time in The Christ #8. Some of them listen and others react extremely violently. There are people that want to kill Jesus in The Christ #8. In fact the religious leaders are plotting his death in The Christ #8. They want to let one man die so the rest of them can live. They are afraid of Rome. They do not acknowledge or recognize that God can save them from anything and anyone.

There are numerous miracles where Jesus heals people in The Christ #8. The religious leaders are mad that Jesus heals on the Sabbath in The Christ #8. Jesus exposes their hypocrisy in The Christ #8. The religious leaders do this other work on the Sabbath and they justify it. They help animals for example. Instead one of their own people more important than an animal? I cannot understand how they hung onto those rules.
