The Wingfeather Saga Season 1
SCORE: 69
While we have Angel Studios I decided to check out The Wingfeather
Saga Season 1. There are currently three seasons of this show on Angel
Studios so I plan on trying to get through all three of them. There are
six episodes that make up The Wingfeather Saga Season 1. The episodes
range from twenty-five to thirty-four minutes in terms of length. This
is a very interesting fantasy world that I never heard of before.
I will include spoilers in this review. There is some peril, and a bit
of violence in later episodes of The Wingfeather Saga Season 1. The
music and voice acting is stellar in The Wingfeather Saga Season 1. The
art threw me at the beginning. It looks strange. I eventually adapted to
the darker tones and styles in The Wingfeather Saga Season 1. The story
is what makes The Wingfeather Saga Season 1 very interesting.
The Wingfeather Saga Season 1 revolves around three children. There is
Janner Igiby (Wingfeather), Kalmar (Tink) Igiby (Wingfeather), and Leeli
Igiby (Wingfeather). Nia Igiiby (Wingfeather) is the mother, and Podo
Helmer is the grandfather. The mother and grandfather are trying to keep
the kids safe from the Fangs. They are reptilian like humanoids that
have conquered the humans.
There are plenty of secrets that are slowly revealed in The Wingfeather
Saga Season 1. The three children are actually royalty and they are The
Jewels of Anniera. Janner is the Throne Warden (protector of the king),
Tink is the high king, and Leeli is gifted with the magical art of
music. At one point Leeli sings to a sea dragon and she can understand
them. Janner also heard the dragon speak telepathically.
The Fangs are trying to find these jewels, but think they are jewelry
and not people. At least the lower level ones. When a Fang dies they
evaporate into dust in The Wingfeather Saga Season 1. Artham Wingfeather
starts out as a jester in The Wingfeather Saga Season 1, but is actually
the Throne Warden to the current high king Esben Wingfeather. There are
some neat things in The Wingfeather Saga Season 1 like prayer at meals.
