Zero to Dance Hero

It took me quite a few months to get through Zero to Dance Hero. I
made it my Saturday morning exercise recording game. I did not know
exactly what to expect from Zero to Dance Hero on the Nintendo Switch. I
knew it had to do with dancing. At first I thought Zero to Dance Hero
was a Just Dance kind of a video game where I would dance the songs and
move on to my next game. Zero to Dance Hero is vastly different.
First and foremost in order to play the songs in Zero to Dance Hero the
family member must go through all of the lessons for that song. Once the
family member is done with all of the lessons they should have a very
good idea about how to dance that exact song. In some ways the songs in
Free Mode are less important in Zero to Dance Hero than the lessons in
learning how to dance the moves. This dawned on me about half way
through this video game.
The songs in Zero to Dance Hero are catchy even though I never heard any
of them before. I also am not sure what is being said in the lyrics
because I think it is all in Japanese. There are thirty lessons in Zero
to Dance Hero. Many of the lessons contain three sub lessons. All of
them must be completed to get to play the songs in Free Mode. There are
plenty of neat special effects within Zero to Dance Hero.
There are two male and two female dance instructors in Zero to Dance
Hero. The female dance instructors are showing their mid riff areas. The
good news is additional outfits can be unlocked and the instructors
outfits will change if you dance with them in Free Mode. The scoring in
Zero to Dance Hero is confusing. At times it would score good and at
times it would not score good.
The only good news about the scoring in Zero to Dance Hero is it does
not matter. What I mean by that is if you get orange or yellow there is
no numerical value attached. I got some songs completely orange and was
allowed to continue. Even though I noticed all kinds of mistakes from
the scoring system ultimately it does not matter. The only thing that
matters in Zero to Dance Hero is learning how to dance. Zero to Dance
Hero does that really well.
